Company
The founders of Internet Architects met each other over the same frustration: too many online projects they encountered at their customers had been unsuccessful. It was hard to pinpoint one specific reason for these failing projects. The quality of the individual building blocks was not reflected in the end result. Somewhere there seemed to be a gap: the business people weren't able to explain their priorities to the technical team and the designers, while understanding the users, were not able to turn happy users into customers.
External consultants and suppliers could not provide solutions for these clients. Business consultants understood the business objectives, marketing agencies understood the user and communication issues, technical suppliers built state of the art solutions, but they didn't seem able to work together efficiently and effectively.
The missing link seemed to be at the crossing of all these issues. Someone capable of understanding business needs, communication strategy, technology and used to working in a user centric way.
The founders of Internet Architects recognized what they did in the work an architect does: Working for the customer, as a neutral party, looking at solutions from the point of view of the end user and having the technical knowledge to build innovative solutions in line with the latest trends.
Internet Architects was born.
