• Transform wireframes into qualitative HTML-templates and apply CSS on existing HTML-code
• Deliver quality material including graceful degradation
• Respect good usability and accessibility that also caters for minority groups
• Work independently and know how to handle working with tight deadlines

You should …

• Know all about the latest developments in HTML and CSS
• Be a natural-born problem solver
• Master the basics of information architecture and interaction design and respect the best practices in those fields
• Preferably know your way around modern technologies such as CSS3, HTML5, less framework, … and be familiar with older browsers such as IE6 – 8
• Be an expert in web standards and know something about structured and component-based development

You will…

• Analyze the client’s requirements and the end user’s needs
• Think out a concept solution that brings the client’s requirements in line with the end user’s needs
• Translate that solution in wireframes and navigational structures
• Guide the design process
• Take the lead in quality control, during and after the realization phase
• Communicate with the client

You should …

• Know how to set up the information architecture of a site and work out the interaction design of applications
• Be a master at creating wireframes, working out site structures and writing functional definition documents
• Be able to work independently as well as in a team
• Know the ins and outs of web standards
• Respect the good practices of information architecture
• Have some basic project management skills
• Speak and write Dutch and English fluently; if you are also fluent in French, that is a plus
• Know a thing or two about search engine optimization (SEO) and/or web analytics
