- Be our clients’ first point of contact and follow up on incoming requests and resolve them; in practice this means
taking care of content updates, design changes, front-end and back-end iterations,…
- Manage more complex requests, in close cooperation with the dedicated project team
- Monitor and oversee the quality of each deliverable
- Support the project team for browser, functional and visual testing
As an all-round webmaster, you should have a number of fundamental skills. You should:
- Should be able to integrate content in different CMS systems
- Know how to work with CSS preprocessors, such as Less and Sass
- Have experience in Laravel or Drupal (be familiar with MVC-principles)
- Know something about graphic design and know your way around in Photoshop
- Have a first experience with SEO and web analytics
- Take initiative and get things done, in line with our clients’ SLAs
- Be fluent in Dutch and English
- Be a good listener and function well in a team

Conversely, we expect you to be responsible and act, investigate and solve problems in an independent and professional manner. That doesn’t imply that you won’t be supported in your endeavors. Our Project Management Office is readily available to help you in your planning, staffing, resource gathering, billing and other practical worries. For categorical questions, you will always find a fellow UXer, designer or developer in close proximity to exchange ideas and experiences.
We are also proud of our unique way of peer evaluation. There is no manager at IA that will evaluate your performance. Your colleagues will do this for you. Every year they get the opportunity to voice what they find so fantastic about you and which skills are up for improvement. This will be discussed between you and your “counselor” and eventually be poured into a self-development plan. In that way, you can reap the fruits of your IA endeavor to the fullest.
