Free app drives technology

Continuum originally developed their natural language parsing technology to offer professionals efficiency as they process large bodies of digital texts. To introduce this innovative technology to a broader user group, the Limburg-based consultancy company asked us to help them develop a free news app.

Thinktank and feedback sessions

To determine target groups and match their needs to possibilities of the technology, we organised a series of workshops with Continuum. This resulted in the development of the UX concept and the look and feel of the revolutionary newsAnglr app.

Your own news agency

Using the natural language parsing technology of Continuum, newsAnglr offers readers a comprehensive review of news topics that are trending online. The app tracks thousands of sources, compares their articles in real-time and links them to related topics in a proximity ring. It then publishes these under umbrella categories. On an article level, the app distils other trending topic categories from the selected texts. As such, news junkies can follow an endless content thread and discover interesting topics they didn’t actively search for.

newsAnglr is available as a mobile version for iOS en Android. Get it now and read the news as it hits the stands.

A faster website only bears fruit. Like we’ve told before: your customers’ time is your money. As your website loads faster, less people will abandon your website, they will stay longer and ultimately your bounce rate will benefit. A good performing website even impacts SEO, making sure it’ll be easier for (potential) customers to find you. A faster website improves conversion, it increases visitor satisfaction and it reduces visitor abandonment.
