The Dreambaby Gift List application enables future parents to create and publish gift lists for their babies. Purchases made through these gift lists generate over half of Dreambaby’s turnover. Therefore, Dreambaby asked us to improve the gift list application to make it as user-friendly as possible.
Cross-channel task mapping
In the first phase, we focused on giving Dreambaby’s online gift list a visual make-over and making the interface responsive.
Thorough research determined what users’ primary tasks and needs are. We mapped these across Dreambaby’s various channels (gift list, online shop, stores) to be able to optimize services at the different customer touchpoints.
Reusable building blocks
We built a library of standardized components and templates that can be used for rapid development – not only forDreambaby but for all the Colruyt Group brands. To ensure visual consistency and reduce development time, we created page elements that could be reused for various purposes. This includes web forms, calendars, slideshows and navigation. These components are then plugged into the page templates, creating a seamless and responsive experience.
