Carrefour Belgium recently launched Simply You Boxes, an order-to-cook service that simplifies and enhances the daily cooking and shopping experience of their customers. They asked us for a solution, enabling a quick launch and test-drive this new service. In close collaboration with Carrefour Belgium, our team got the digital platform for the Simply You Box user experience up and running in record time: just two months.
In August this year, Carrefour’s head office in Brussels asked us to launch their new e-service Simply You Boxes. They needed us to create a user experience that invites Carrefour Belgium customers to try the order-to-cook service and return for seconds. Though this project presented itself as rather straightforward, the real challenge lay in its timing: Carrefour Belgium wanted their service and website to go-live at the end of September. As we are their long-standing UX partner, we know Carrefour Belgium inside out, so we confidently accepted the challenge.
Shoulder to shoulder for record go-live
To meet this deadline, our dedicated crew teamed up with Carrefour Belgium’s digital and ICT division, defining precise scopes and goals and sharing expertise. This resulted in us achieving a UX solution that reflects the convenience Simply You Boxes offers Carrefour Belgium customers. While Carrefour Belgium took charge of the visual designs and copy, our team translated the functional requirements into a concept with an intuitive user experience and built the front- and backend.Through this close collaboration, we delivered a fully functioning e-site – well within the challenging two-month deadline.

Simply You Boxes contain the recipes and exact ingredients for three fresh, tasty family meals that anyone is able to prepare in thirty minutes. On www.simplyyoubox.be Carrefour Belgium customers select their favourite recipes and order their boxes in a whisk, then collect and pay for them at a Simply You Box pick-up point.
