The Port of Antwerp’s Connectivity Platform is a web-based application that unlocks the port’s transport potential online. Internet Architects contributed to the overview of the port’s container terminals and their services, and to the route planner that links the port to over 185 European inland terminals. Wunderkraut, one of our technical partners, supplied the Drupal CMS.
portofantwerp.com provides all information on the port's accessibility and on its variety of transport possibilities. The Antwerp Port Authority wanted to develop an extra platform that offers clear and well-structured information on the port's transport possibilities for each of their target groups. This would significantly improve the visibility of their service offering for all customers, and should simplify an otherwise very complex overview of transport options.
We helped to set up the connectivity platform as the central location for all information on the port's transport service offering. We added practical and contact information on terminals, operators and professional organizations for completeness. And this new platform is an excellent starting point for the port to communicate on all its advantages of being an inland port with an intermodal offering as well as plenty of maritime connections.
